MOSCOW, Sep 20 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to the Moscow office of local Internet giant Yandex, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2017, on Thursday, the Kremlin’s press service said on Wednesday in a statement.
“The head of state will get acquainted with the company’s main directions. In particular, the company will show the president an updated algorithm of the Yandex.Search system, the most popular search engine in Russia, tell him about developments in the sphere of artificial intelligence and online services provided by the company to Internet users and improving the quality of life of people, like projects in telemedicine, education, business, and transport,” the Kremlin said.
Yandex will also show Putin a working prototype of a self-driving car, which is controlled by Yandex’s software.
